MLS Laser Testimonial:
"Lefty's story...cold laser therapy is the best! We have a 12 year old Australian Shepherd named "Lefty" that underwent ACL surgery in January of 2016. This was performed in Sioux Falls by an orthopedic pet doctor from Iowa. Due to Lefty's age, a recurring back injury, and post-surgery recovery, he continues to have difficulty getting up from a lying/sitting position without assistance and getting in and out of a car without being lifted. Since the cold laser therapy sessions at Mid River Veterinary Clinic, Chamberlain, he is in less pain, more active, and has a happier disposition. Will he ever be able to jump into and out of a vehicle? Most likely not. But, we have seen very positive results with the cold laser therapy administered at Mid River Vet, and when his string of session ended, we saw him lapse back to his former condition. We feel blessed to be able to have this therapy available in our community and the skilled and trained veterinary personnel to administer it. We endorse the therapy for pets that have had an injury, recurring injury, or surgery procedure like our valued pet Lefty." - Bill Gray and Sharon Oliveira, Feb. 2017

Preventative Care
Keeping your pet healthy is just as important to us as it is to you, that is why we stress the importance of Routine Preventative Care. Vaccinations and yearly exams will help keep your pet healthy for longer, and your total vet costs down. Prevention includes exams, vaccines, flea and tick preventatives, deworming, spaying/neutering, and diagnostic screenings.
MicrochippingMRV offers microchipping and online registration for your animal. We know that pets are special, but instances may happen when they wander too far. Microchipping offers a lost pet the best chance of being reunited with their family!

SurgerySome surgeries are planned and some are not, either way, we know any surgical event can be worrisome. To help ease the stress, we do everything we can to be sure your pet is healthy prior to a procedure. Once in the surgery suite, a trained technician and doctor are always right there through recovery checking on your pet. We provide spay/neuters, dentals, and most other soft tissue surgeries.

Diagnostics
We understand the importance of getting answers right away, that is why we have numerous in-house diagnostics available at our fingertips, including blood analyzers, ultrasound, digital x-ray, and other lab services. We also utilize an outside reference lab, with great turn around times, to help aid in diagnosing and treating diseases.
